Emmi wins six awards at the world's largest cheese show
Lucerne, 28 July 2010 - Triple gold, single silver and double bronze - Emmi has returned from the International Cheese Show 2010 in Nantwich (GB) with an impressive array of medals. Emmi can be particularly proud that the jury awarded Emmi KALTBACH Le Gruyère AOC gold in the "Single Speciality Cheese - produced outside UK" and "Single Speciality Cheese - unpasteurised milk" categories.
Emmi is enjoying all-round success: the 140-member jury awarded no fewer than six honours to Emmi's specialities at the largest international cheese show. Out of a total of 3,230 entries from 24 countries, Emmi KALTBACH Le Gruyère AOC once again perfectly suited the experts' taste and was awarded gold in two categories: "Single Speciality Cheese - produced outside UK" and "Single Speciality Cheese - unpasteurised milk". Emmi Le Gruyère AOC Slices also won gold in the "Best Sliced Cheese" category.
The KALTBACH line from Emmi is currently one of the most successful and best-loved premium cheeses on the cheeseboards of Switzerland and the world.
